Vineyards and Agriculture

In the early 1990s we started looking for new business opportunities and diversification. Almost by chance, we ended up buying our first vineyard in the Clements area of Northern San Joaquin County. We planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay on the gently rolling hills next to the old oaks and the creek in 1995. Over the next few years we added 10 more vineyards in this beautiful part of California. Today we farm over 2,000 acres of vineyards that include Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Malbec. From the first leaves in spring to the last day of harvest in fall, each year brings excitement and anticipation.
